paka for inspiring this one...What novel, comic book, or other property would you most like to see filmed, and who should star in them?
paka suggested that an Elric of Melnibone film should either star Johnny Depp or be animated by Peter Chung. Either possibility makes me go "oooooh".Me? I'd love to see The Stars My Destination, with Vin Diesel as Gully Foyle. Unfortunately, Gully and Riddick have a few too many common points -- being sent to a lightless cavern prison is pretty distinctive a gimmick.
