Music of the Day

I fired up WinAmp for some background noise, and just let it play whatever I'd had running last time.

The first few songs seemed strangely appropriate for the holiday:
  • Blue Öyster Cult: E.T.I.
  • Blue Öyster Cult: The Great Sun Jester
  • The Fifth Dimension: The Age of Aquarius
  • Indigo Girls: Galileo
  • Jefferson Starship: Winds of Change

(What, were you expecting songs about bunnies?)

Maybe I read too much Joseph Campbell.
  • Current Music
Beatles - Here Comes the Sun

Uphill. Both ways.

athelind: You know, our grandson won't take out the trash if there's a hint of a drizzle, but he has no problem going out and riding his bike in weather far wetter.

quelonzia: Kids are like that, honey. I was like that. My kids were like that. You were like that.

athelind: Honey, I was a kid in Southern California in the 1970s. We didn't have rain.

Okay, so the drought of 1976-1977 was only two years, but it seemed longer.
